Day 1: Antananarivo

Reception at the airport by the team of Madagascar Tours & Travel and transfer to the capital of Madagascar, then installation to your hotel.

Day 2: Antananarivo – Antsirabe (170km + / – 3h)

After breakfast, departure to join Antsirabe, through the highland landscapes and admire the rice fields, small villages and other surprises … Arriving at Ambatolampy, we will visit the aluminum foundry which based their daily life, they produce casseroles, football table…. Have lunch in a small typical Malagasy restaurant then continue to Antsirabe. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and visit the “city of water”, and why not rickshaw…

Day 3: Antsirabe – Ambositra – Ranomafana (280km + / – 6h)

After breakfast, we will visit the small corners of artisans starting with Mr. Mamy and miniature workshop (rickshaws, bicycles, cars …), its embroideries. Ms. Maminirina and workshop horn that produces valuables with horns zebu … Mr. Marcel and confectionery workshop and Malagasy candy … Then Mr. Joseph and gemstones. After the visits, departure to join Ranomafana through Ambositra which is the capital of the Malagasy handicrafts which is renowned for inlay and carvings precious wood (Rosewood). Have lunch before visiting the workshops and then on to Ranomafana, leaving the landscape of uplands and entering the area of ​​the rainforest. Settle into your hotel and evening visit before dinner.

Day 4: Ranomafana – Fianarantsoa (70km + / – 1h30min)

After breakfast, transfer to the park of Ranomafana to discover its fauna and flora. It is also a World Natural Heritage in the East and is home to a rich and highly endemic biodiversity. You’ll find lemurs, medicinal plants, orchids … After the visit, have lunch and visit the small spa town of Ranomafana before taking the road to Fianarantsoa. Upon arrival, visit the old city and its streets, and also see the design of traditional houses and settle into your hotel.

Day 5: Fianarantsoa – Ambalavao – Andringitra (113km + / – 3h)

After breakfast, departure to join Ranohira (Isalo). Through Ambalavao, we will visit the wine cellar and workshop manufacturing Antemoro papers, and wild silk. Easy walk to admire the old colonial houses and its famous conservatories. Continue to the village nature reserve «Anja «to meet the lemurs. You will also find tombs, medicinal plants … After the visit departure to Andringitra. Upon arrival, check into your hotel.

Day 6: Andringitra

 Full day to admire the fauna and flora of the Andringitra National Park. There is also the peak Boby which the highest peak accessible in Madagascar. Nature, traditions and mysteries surrounding Andringitra make this park a mystical place to explore.

Day 7: Andringitra – Ranohira (310 km + / – 5h)

After breakfast, departure to join Ranohira, through the highlands of Horombe, the mythical landscapes undoubtedly arouse your curiosity. Upon arrival, enjoy the sunset in the natural window of Isalo then settle into your hotel.

Day 8: Ranohira / Isalo

After breakfast, transfer to the National Park of Isalo to discover its fauna and flora. The massive ruiniform `s Isalo is a sandstone plateau of continental Jurassic. Heavily eroded, the only witnesses fragmented by sandy valleys and canyons remain: a truly exceptional show. Today we will start the tour by canyons lemurs and eventually the Namaza site. You’ll find panoramic views (rice, cliffs incised gorges). Old royal village, Royal Enclosure, Shower King, Tomb of King Tombs Bara. Ski Freestyle lush gorges; explore the unique flora of the rainforest and its many groups of lemurs. There are also birds, butterflies, lizards…

Day 9: Ranohira / Isalo – Tulear – Antananarivo (250Km + / – 4h and 1h15 flight)

After breakfast, depart for Tulear through the highlands of Horombe, the village of Sapphire Ilakaka then continue to Tulear with desert landscapes. Upon arrival, transfer to the airport for your flight to Antananarivo and connection for your international flight.
