Day 1: Antananarivo 

Meet & greet at the airport by the team of Madagascar Tours & Travel and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Antananarivo – Périnet / Andasibe (170km + / – 3h)

After breakfast, departure to join the Andasibe National Park. Gradually leaving the mountainous region and plunge into the beautiful landscape of the East. A quick stop at Marovezo to visit Pereiras Reserve: butterfly farm, reptiles and chameleons. After the visit, drives to Andasibe then settle into your hotel. Take lunch and then in the afternoon, visit the private reserve Vakona Forest Lodge, where you’ll find crocodiles, lemurs and some endemic birds…

Day 3: Périnet / Andasibe

After breakfast, visit of Andasibe National Park to discover the largest lemurs on the island which is the Indri and its flora and fauna. After the tour, return to the hotel. Night visit before dinner.

Day 4: Périnet / Andasibe – Antananarivo

After breakfast, depart for Antananarivo before you visit Ambohimanga Palace which is located 25km north of the city also called «blue hill” is ranked World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. One of the twelve sacred hills that directly meets a large part of the Merina history and Madagascar. Houses dating from 1871 and its surroundings who keep the true cultural and historical stories. Visit rural Madagascar during the route. After the visit departure to Antananarivo then transfer to your hotel.

Day 5: Antananarivo – Morondava (1h15min Flight) – Bekopaka (200km + / – 8 hours)

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Morondava. Welcome on arrival and departure to join Bekopaka. Take the road to Tsimafana (approx. 3 hours) through the baobab alley; Tsiribihina river crossing ferry, arriving in Belo Tsiribihina after about 30 minutes. Have lunch at a local restaurant then continue the road for 4 hours on a sandy track to Bekopaka. Settle into your hotel after a long day.

Day 6: : Le Petit Tsingy and Manambolo gorge

After breakfast, departure to visit the small Tsingy in the morning and Manambolo gorge in the afternoon. After the tour, return to the hotel.

Day 7:  The Big Tsingy

After breakfast, transfer to the park entrance and then a full day to discover this site is classified as a World Heritage Site. It looks like a real cathedral of limestone, consisting of a dense network of faults, cracks, surfaces of limestone blocks carved blades or sharp needles. Limestone rocks formed by the deposition of fossils and shells in the sea died there 200 million years are then formed by rainwater there is 5 million years. Tsingy offer one of the most spectacular landscapes of the Big Island with 86 % of plant species that are endemic site and the 650 inventoried , you can also discover the same time lemurs, endemic birds … After the visit back to the hotel.

Day 8: Bekopaka – Morondava (200 km + / – 8 hours)

After breakfast, departure to join Morondava through Belo Tsiribihina where you will have lunch. Passing a tray and a sandy road will bring you to the Alley of Baobabs to admire one of the most beautiful and fascinating landscapes of Madagascar. Take the best photos in the sumptuous sunset before reaching the town of Menabe. Upon arrival, check into your hotel.

Day 9: Morondava – Antananarivo (1h15min flight)

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Antananarivo. Meet at the airport and then visit the historic old city of Antananarivo. Starting with the splendid view of Antananarivo, and to further the Queen’s Palace (under construction), the former Palace of justices, the Andafiavaratra Palace, which houses the exhibition of objects saved from the fire of the Palace Queen in 1995. Andohalo place is the oldest public square in Antananarivo and transfer.
